Fun Family Games!

I used to be a camp director and thought it’d be fun to teach our kids some of the games we used to play, like Fox Tail, Bear Skin (also known as, “The Trash Can Game,”) and fun little card tricks. Can you guess how I moved the bottom card to the top of the deck? 🙂

You wouldn’t believe it but I did the m & m prize after the potty with my
second. And transitioned so easily. I definitely think the m & m’s helped.
It’s not to bribe but to encourage positive behavior. In fact I heard it
from Michelle Duggar once and immediately applied the method.

I’ve never seen them games before. Also I know how the magic trick works. I
knew before he showed it. I know a few tricks. I should show you and the
    kids sometime.

Not a good idea to play these games before bedtime. Time for quiet time.

Love that you get away for some one on one time with your son. And how you
are teaching him the way things should be right from the start. It
definitely will benefit him in years to come.

I love family time of playing games and just having fun without television
    and electronic interruptions.

Hannah may of been getting 6 and 9 cards mixed up because there is an
upside down 9 on there (which looks like a 6) 🙂

Yay for Halle!!! We have a little potty but don’t use it. We have the
most epic toilet station for Johannah. Built in toilet seat and this step
stool with handlebars that looks like handicap access. She can get up on
the big toilet all by herself and I don’t worry about her getting hurt
playing on it. It was an expensive set up, but soooo worth it.

Speaking of money flushed down the toilet spent on toilet paper, for a
while I’ve thought about using cloth wipes instead of toilet paper for me.
It’s especially easy if you’re already washing cloth diapers and can just
throw them in with them. Or do you can just use them for #1 if using them
for #2 is too gross. Cheaper AND softer. What do you think? I’d
recommend Thirsties wipes. They are really soft and hold up well. Our
society never thinks about alternatives to toilet paper you just think its
    necessary, but why not?
