This MUVE Dancing Game is called “Independent Triangles.” You can check out all the MUVE dancing games at http://www.muve.com/muve-dancing-games/.

This video highlights a Halloween Family Dance Event. Ohana MUVE is a class designed for everyone! Multi-generational exercise for the whole family to enjoy quality time together. In this all-inclusive dance class; kids, teens, aunties, parents and even grandparents can enjoy healthy physical activity together.

This game is great because it builds small teams, encourages leadership and supports others to follow. Its exciting, energetic, and allows participants to exert themselves creatively. In this game, players rotate within their individual triangles to the leader position to lead two fellow dancers. In MUVE, we call leaders, the ‘Muse’ because they serve as the creative inspiration. The call for triangle-rotation is ‘Huli Huli’, and it moves players one position clockwise within the individual triangles. Everyone shares the roles of leaders and followers.

As you teach this game you can use other MUVE Concept Cards to help the students find creative ideas. There are various types of inspiration concepts (Emotions, Motions, Opposites, Characters) available in our toolbox http://www.muve.com/tool-box/
